Ysabela Perez is a research assistant at The Boggs Center on Disability and Human Development. She is responsible for recruiting, consenting, enrolling participants and conducting surveys and interviews, and data analysis. Prior to joining The Boggs Center, Ysabela worked as a medical interpreter at Eric B. Chandler Health Center, where she worked directly with patients and clinicians to bridge communication gaps within the Latino community, ensuring that patients received the care and information they needed in their preferred language. Ysabela graduated from Rutgers University in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and obtained her Clinical Research Coordination Level 1 Badge in September 2024.
