Valentina Arango-Correa, MEd is a Training and Consultation Specialist at The Boggs Center on Disability and Human Development. She provides project training and technical assistance on the Person-Centered Approaches in Schools and Transition (PCAST) project, working closely with schools, students, and families.
Prior to joining The Boggs Center, Mrs. Arango-Correa worked as a K-12 Title I Language Arts Coach in Roselle Park School District. In this district, she wrote curriculum to help shape the ELA curriculum to be more representative of the student body and provided anti-bias professional development. She was also a High School Language Arts teacher.
Mrs. Arango-Correa received her Masters degree in English Education from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. She is currently in the dissertation phase of the Educational Doctorate program. Her concentration of Doctoral studies is Education, Culture, and Society.
