Susan Ellien is the Knowledge Translation & Grant Development Specialist at The Boggs Center. Susan works on a range of communications, training development, and grant writing and implementation activities. In addition, she provides staff support for The Boggs Center’s Consumer Advisory Council.
Susan was a Boggs Center Interdisciplinary Trainee during the 2012-2013 academic year. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Rowan University and her Master of Social Work in Nonprofit and Public Management from Rutgers School of Social Work.
Susan is a Licensed Social Worker, a Charting the LifeCourse Ambassador, and completed the Rutgers Communicator Certificate program. In all her work, Susan strives to incorporate the voices of people with disabilities and family members and make information accessible to broad audiences.
