Naomy Azcona is a research assistant at The Boggs Center on Disability and Human Development in the department of pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS). Naomy is responsible for recruiting, consenting, enrolling participants and conducting surveys and interviews, and data analysis. Prior to joining The Boggs Center, Naomy worked as a Peer Mental Health Educator at Rutgers University, where she conducted interactive workshops for students on topics related to mental health. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2023, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She is currently pursuing a Master in Public Health degree at Rutgers School of Public Health with a concentration in Urban Public Health.
