Meghan Barrella, BS

Meghan Barrella is an Instructional Designer for The Boggs Center on Disability and Human Development and is currently developing the Money Follows the Person Capacity Building project curriculum. These modules will be utilized for New Jersey’s Direct Support Professionals and Support Coordinators.

Prior to joining The Boggs Center, she developed and designed eLearning for ongoing and onboarding employees at Rothman Orthopedics and Zoom Producer for Lake Forest Center for Leadership. While working at Rothman Orthopedics, Meghan had collaborated with team members to design the annual compliance training, eClinical Works trainings, Risk Management trainings, DEI trainings, and administered the LMS for over 2,000 employees. While working with Lake Forest Center for Leadership, Meghan had the pleasure to work with clients such as Medline, AbbVie and Rust-Oleum.

During Meghan’s decade-long career, she has also produced eLearning and multimedia content for the fields of automation and special education. As a Multimedia Specialist for Festo, she produced interactive media-rich learning solutions for instructor-led, blended, online and virtual environments. Trainings included electronics education, renewable energy, piping, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, flexible manufacturing, refrigeration, and STEM. During her tenure at Hawkswood Inc., she helped to design interactive media lessons for students from 3 to 21 years old with autism and complex multiple disabilities.

Meghan acquired her bachelor’s degree in Media, Communication, and Technology from East Stroudsburg University.
